Anesthesia for plastic surgery

Plastic Surgery is often a superficial procedure and requires less time for postoperative hospital stay. Nowadays, most sugery is accomplished with local anesthesia and, if necessary, sedation. In other words, it demands few hours of stay at a day clinic or hospital and does not require long break from routine activities. Clearly, this should be accomplished in a hospital with complete medical-surgical support.
